Registered Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Acupuncturists are regulated healthcare professionals. In order to provide safe and effective treatment, we collect personal information from our clients. Personal information collected may include:

  • Name and contact information
  • Date of birth
  • Health history and medical information
  • Treatment notes and clinical records
  • Payment and billing information
  • Insurance information when applicable

This information is collected directly from clients through intake forms, assessment during appointments, and treatment documentation.

  • To maintain clinical records required for regulated healthcare practice

Clinical records are maintained in accordance with the record-keeping requirements of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC and the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.

  • Restricted access to client information

Access to Your Information

Clients have the right to request access to their personal health records and request corrections if information is inaccurate. Requests for access to records must be made in writing and may be subject to reasonable administrative fees where permitted by law.

Retention of Records

Client records are retained in accordance with regulatory requirements set by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC and applicable privacy legislation. Records are maintained for the required retention period and are securely destroyed once that period has passed.
